I was telling you in a previous article - Javascript - text resize - how you can give your site’s visitors the possibility to see your page’s content at different text sizes, using javascript. Let’s take this further and think a little about the user… now, if he really needs a bigger text size, then he will have to use those buttons or links on each page - not so convenient, right?

There has been a lot of pre-apocalypse hysteria going around of late and to anyone who is as superstitious as numerologists you’ll notice that most of the present doomsayers are transfixed on dates that have the digits 2 and 1. I’m not saying that the world will end when 2 become 1, I’m just saying in recent light of the past natural disasters I think we should seriously consider how we use our resources and focus on green technology.

Now with that thought in mind, the question is: Do the benefits of the Internet outweigh the unlimited hosting costs of its energy consumption and CO2 emissions? (more…)

If you are looking for something unique for your home, like a rustic decor or rustic furniture, you should check out this family run business website. I found there a lot of interesting items for all the rooms in the house: bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen. For outdoor as well.

For me, the ones that I liked the most are in the rustic lighting section. I couldn’t believe how nice these hand made lamps can be. I’ve had a very hard time deciding which one I would buy and I’m still not there yet. (more…)
