Big Changes On My Do Follow List!
Some of you might have already noticed in the last couple of days, that there are some big changes on my Do Follow List!
If you haven’t, then you should read this post and then go and see for yourself!
1. Google Page Rank (PR) and Alexa Rank
Next to each blog link you will find two important pieces of information - Google Page Rank (PR) and Alexa Rank - which are actually used to calculate each blog position on the do follow list. Of course, the page rank is more important. Both are automatically updated.
I dropped out the Technorati rank, since they are no longer provide it through their API.
2. Report link as being no follow!
In case you spot a blog which is no longer following visitors comments (grrrrr!), feel free to report it to me by using the “Report link”.
I will personally check that blog and remove it from my do follow list if found guilty!
Or mark it as verified - in case it was misreported or there is a minimum amount of comments required to make the links do follow (I know there are some plugins for this). You will find the verification date of the “Last Verified” column. And the number of comments if that’s the case.
Please note that a reported blog will not be displayed on the list until it’s verified, so please don’t abuse this action unless you are sure about it.
3. Minimum amount of comments
I know that there are some blogs which have a minimum amount of comments required in order to make the links do follow. Until now, I didn’t include such a blog on my do follow list, but I’m willing to change this as long as this minimum amount is announced.
Are you the owner of such a blog? Do you know if any of the ones I have listed it’s like this? Please let me know!
As closure, I would like to ask you all to give me a little help to update the Do Follow List!
Thanks and hope you will find my do follow list very helpful.
Update: Since there were so many sites reported as not being do-follow, including some that I personally checked, I’ve introduced a two weeks delay between the verification time and when the report link will be available.
I will try my best to check all the sites reported as soon as possible. In case your site was on my list and got wrongly reported, please contact me with some links where I can check that your site is indeed do-follow.

Great changes! The list was already a gold mine to begin with, now that it has the potential to be continually updated with user inputs, it’s going to remain a great resource for a long time to come!
I’ve been using the list for a couple weeks now, and I’ve managed to boost my rankings almost from this alone! A+ list, I’ll be telling my friends about it ^_^
