					<description>osCommerce is as bad a software as they come. I think your best bet would be to make your own cart (which is what I do), or use a real cart, like Magento.</description>

					<description>I didn't hear about Magento before, so I checked it a little bit. Although it has some good things, it still lacks maturity! The same goes for any other "I made it" solution.
Instead, osCommerce has been around for several years and, more important, has gathered a large community of programmers around it.

In the end, it really depends on the way you are looking at this matter - from your programmer point of view osCommerce might be a bad choice, but I can tell you that from a store owner it's quite the opposite.
